Experience with Java, XML Publisher, OAF, ADF
Oracle Discoverer knowledge
Optimization and Tuning
Oracle Integration products EBS Adapters
Working knowledge of Oracle 9i/10g Application Server
Higher Education Degree/Diploma in related area
6-8 years industry experience
2 years experience in leading the design and architecture of platform level software systems.
4 years 11i Applications experience (as a Developer / Senior Developer, with a track record of developing quality solutions to complex problems in one or more of the following areas: Financials, Supply Chain, Projects, HR and CRM
PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports
BPEL and SOA knowledge would be a distinct advantage
Should have internal / external consulting and project experience
Willingness to travel is essential
Skills:
Ability to work on own initiative, ensuring that the set goals for the team are met in a timely and professional manner.
Correctly estimating the amount of work required to implement a software component or subsystem and ensuring that these targets are met.
Mentoring and leading colleagues and ensuring that expert knowledge is spread through the team.
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
Working to agreed development standards and playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing these standards as the technology changes.

Job Purpose To lead a multi-skilled team of developers (Java, OAF, Oracle Apps Tech) that designs, develops and validates high quality systems that form the core platform used by Dell Services IT.
